I pull up the Quilting Paradise Newsletter for the day and read through each line and section. I hit back to get to today's lists.
If I have time I search through the recent topics or main, but not usually.

Usually I read the ones that come in my daily newsletter. It has only been very recently that I check 'recent topics', clicking on the subjects that appeal to me first.

Because I view most of this on my phone and its not always easy to post comments and the like...I usually look mostly at the pictures and sometimes main or chit chat if there's a topic that interests me. I work an 8-5 job and three little kids then there's scouts guitar lessons and football. I get very little time to really get in here and look around much less quilt :(

It didn't take me long to realize that I was just going to miss stuff, no matter what I did, and needed to keep my time investment down if I were going to be able to quilt and do other stuff. So I check the "recent topics" and scan each major heading to see if there is anything that catches my eye. Thirty minutes max. Then I stop, no matter what.

I start at the bottom. I read the Classifieds first, scan reciepes, the posted sites for patterns, sales, etc, General Non-Quilting topics, New Members , Pictures and Main Topics. Most of the time this is how I do it but if I'm late getting online at night. I skip the classifieds and skim a lot. I wish I could read everything possible ont his board but I'd never get anything done. Is there anyone who reads everything the board offers everyday???

I get the Digest and read whatever strikes my fancy that day....quilt questions and pics usually, non-quilting topics always, sometimes recipes and then the for sale items even if I can't shop that day.

I always forget about the unread topics option. I should do that. I usually go to my favorite forums and flip through.
