How Do You Save the Growing List of Usernames and Passwords?
With the ever-growing list of usernames and passwords required for various websites and accounts, what is the best way you have found to organize this information?
I used to write them down in a book, however, certain websites keep making me change my password. Very frustrating. I am trying to come up with a better system.
Just wondering what you have found that works for you?

I have a binder that has a list of my pwds. I abbreviate and also update when I need to. One site I'm on requires 3 pwds. I write the site in ink and update in pencil with the last date of change.

I use my paper address book, alphabetized right along with the people. It goes back about 15 years, makes me laugh at some of the sites that are long gone, or I thought were the bees knees at the time. I have yet to lose or forget a password/username, they are all right there.
If a section gets fullish I use white out paper to cover the ones no longer in use and write in the new ones.

I picked up a little password notebook at a Hallmark store a couple of years ago. Not unlike the other books folks have already mentioned but it does have spaces for secret questions, etc. I put the info in pencil so I can update if necessary. I use one of only a few specific passwords predicated on the site requirements (number of characters/numbers/symbols, etc). When I was working I used my full birthdate for my voicemail password as it was all numeric. For my computer login, we were required to update every 90 days. Took a page from a former boss and used a combination of my initials and the month/year when the change was required. Made it easy enough that I didn't need to write that one down except for someone else needed to access my info when I was on vacation.

I have an Excel spreadsheet that lists all the information. It's kept on a thumb drive with a spare hidden away in case I misplace the first one. One instructor at the senior center I attend wears his on a lanyard around his neck. I keep mine in my computer area.
