My DGD (4) doesn't like to talk on the phone AT ALL! But she is talking to Santa right now.

One of my son's friends called and posed as santa and told her she needs to go to bed so he can come and bring her presents.  She has been telling him she has 3 cats and has been talking to him for 10 minutes now!

My stepdad was always our santa - the kids would want to call Santa in July some years - he always obliged even then :)

I had a hotline to Santa for my kids...that's probably the only thing that impressed them at that time. Now they love me for myself, not for my 'connections'.
