51 and almost 1/2 years (June 11). Married at the Little Brown Church in the Vale in Nashua, Iowa. Went back last year and renewed our vows and gave each other another wedding band for the next 50 years!!!!!!
Met on December 4, 1959, engaged on March 18, 1960, married on June 11, 1960 and here we are - living in our home, paid for for almost 20 years now, small little one bedroom bungalow (but big enough to raise a son and chase three grandchildren around the house) on the top of the hill!! Can practically watch the world go by if it wasn't for the trees!!!!!! Not fun to mow though! Didn't you just hate it when people said "It'll never work." Well, when you work at it, it does and the rewards a abundant! Edie
