Hi, not sure where I should ask this, but.......
I have some 11 inch by 17 inch pillows (got them from the kids), ad want to make Burrito (only one I have used) Pillowcases for them.
How do I measure the fabric?
Thanks for the help.

What is a burrito pillowcase? I have a great pattern for pillowcases that we use for charity pillowcases that has no exposed seams. Cuff seam is hidden and French seams for sides and bottom. If interested PM me.

The burrito pillowcase is the one with faux french seams that is commonly used for charities like www.conkerrcancer.org They are also called sausage rolls. Very easy and fun to make, I cut the body 27" and the cuff 9" which is folded lengthwise to make a 4 1/2 " cuff before sewing. I usually don't put in the little trim piece in as it become very wrinkled after washing.

Here are the instructions for King size and regular size pillowcases I make/ I also stitch down the insert fabric, then it stays straight and doesn't curl - less ironing after drying.
