Only one, and he's a barn cat. We love him, but he's such a "wild man" he wasn't at all happy being cooped up in the house. He acts more like a tiger than a house cat! And he has lots of buddies that come to play everyday from next door.

    One cat and one pug.

Sammy came first and when she was about two we acquired the cat. Sammy didn't cotton to this cat at all hence the name "thedarnolecat". She has since become more forgiving and permits the cat to enter the same room she is in.

This picture is unusual in that Sammy rarely lets thedarnolecat sleep anywhere near her - especially dad's recliner.

Sammy and thedarnolecat curled up with Dad in his recliner.

Not even a pet fly at present time. However, back in the day...last critters we had were three dogs, Currie, lab, Mimette, poodle, and Pixie, doxie. Into this group came a Himalayan kitten, (too long a story). Every morning, the routine was go out and pee, hurry back in and gather at the kitchen sink for our daily doggie bones. Muffin, the cat glommed onto this idea really fast and he would join the three dogs, sit up on his hind legs and take his little Milkbone in his front paws and crunch it down like a champion. I miss them all.

I have two cats - my furbaby Hercules loves to get involved in my work but Diana prefers to act as quiltweight and just curl up in quilts that are laying around in various states of doneness. :)

Quilters have big hearts so it's natural that they share their quilts with cats. We have two dogs and yes, they love quilts and actually have their own!

Probably more like 80%. The other groups I belong to (quilting related of course!) have a high percentage of cat owners...almost ALL of them have cats! We have two....! Callie and Faith.....both trouble makers
I am thinking your right! About 80%, more than I thought!

I now have two. I believe that they were hired by the same firm that hires the QUILT POLICE. The minute they hear the machine start. They come and "camp" right next to me. I have pre-warned the vet that I will have either one of them there one day soon with a sewing machine needle thru their paw....
