None, many people around here do not believe in Halloween and the kids don't participate in that. They have what they call "Fall Festivals" because Halloween is pagan and satanic (their words). It sure is sad.

we had a ton! but I think it's due to the guy across the street dresses in a hairy gorilla suit (for the past 5 or more yrs now) and jumps at the littlest kid in a group all evening long! You can hear kids and moms screaming and laughing up and down the street. He has a rep now and I think everyone comes around just to see him. Also, we live in a circular street thats really usually quiet, and people brought kids in on hay covered trailers/wagons -lol. The town only had "ween from 6-8PM and that was good, cus by 8PM I'd passed out my last lollipop. sharet

We only had two, the children of DH's coworker. Actually DH had taken candy for them to their dad that morning, so the family came by to show us their costumes before they went to hit up the grandparents. So it was sort of like trick-or-treating in reverse.

And, because we live out in the country with no close neighbors, those were the only trick-or-treaters we've ever had in the 25 years at this house.

Not as many as we had 2 years ago despite the relatively warm area and the heavy decorating (and lights) by neighbors. Our neighborhood no longer has young kids (most are empty nesters or retirees). In addition, most of the foreclosures were on families with kids. The older folks had already paid for their homes.
