My husband passed away in 2005. He was almost 95 years old and even at his age they were able to use skin, bones and muscles. I was told that you are never too old to use certain parts of the body. I know he would be happy that someone else could get some use of his body that he no longer needed. Lil Lulu

I am an organ donor and have been since finding out about the process. I think I'm a little over the top about this because I find that I'm very disappointed (to the point of being angry) when I hear about people not "believing" in organ donation and aren't donors. There should be no excuse for someone dying because they cannot receive an organ. Boy, I'm a bit outspoken, huh??!! - sorry-

I am a donor and have had it on my licence for many many years!
Back in 2002 my brother died in an accident. No one knew if he had wanted to donate his, so my family all agreed that since he was such a giving man that he probably would have wanted to, so we did just that. He helped several people.
I would like to encourage you to sign up to be a donor, you never know who's life you could save!
