I have made three aprons that I wear from time to time, but I mainly wear an apron during the holidays while cooking the holiday meal to keep my nicer clothes clean. Otherwise the aprons decorate my one kitchen door.

I love my aprons also. I have 8 aprons here in Minnesota, and probably 5 more in our Texas home, but then I'm a collector of nice embroidered hankies, vintage fabrics and elegant table cloths. I definitely have to have an apron on when working with grease.

I just bought fabric and a pattern to make one for my sister. If it works out and I have the time I wont to make one for my kitchen. Just love aprons!

In my 40s and have worn them since I moved out of the house at 17...wouldn't bake without one! Even if the recipient doesn't actually wear them, they look really pretty hanging on a hook in any kitchen!

I wear aprons! My sister wears hers occasionally. My mom wears hers all the time. I have made her like 6 and she switches them out.

I'm looking for this pattern too. If you find it would you be willing to tell me where to find it?
I'd appreciate the pattern too as I don't like the way the ones with the strap around the neck begin to pull down on the neck after awhile, especially if you have much in the big pockets, which is one of the best things about aprons.
