I wear an apron, but only the long kind. I don't understand the ones that are only like a skirt and only cover below the waist...I am always getting splattered on the upper half. :)

I wear one sometimes, like when canning and baking.

my youngest, not quite 30, wears them all the time! she loves the ones that have the most coverage--the ones i see as bar-be-que types, or coverup types. she dresses "pretty" every day, and when time comes to cook, or when company comes over, she tosses on an apron over her duds. (it must be her personal rebellion--raised by a t-shirt and blue jeans type, and she dresses to the nines every day, and is most often seen in heels. she certainly is a cutie, and puts her old mom to shame!)

Hi fellow oregonian. I live up HWY 58. We just camped at Cresent lake and I wore an apron while cooking. I wear one almost 99% of the time. Then if you leave it on while you eat, it does double duty:)

I wear mine working outside. It gets a lot of dirt my clothes would normally get. My grandmother was never without one, used it for carrying in the eggs, the berries, the apples, pears and walnuts and even the wood. Plus they have pockets and I can't live without pockets.
