Oh, Roda, that is not good! What a lot of extra work for you!

Does it often happen that livestock gets struck by lightning?

I have been working in my yard, cleaning up flower beds, putting out a top layer (I combine compost, manure, garden soil and Miracle Gro slow release plant food) bought mulch. My Knock-Out roses are looking so pretty and elephant ears are popping up. Love this time of year.

I have a garden growing here in the south with a few veggies that are ready. I mowed the yard and trimmed the edges. Love this spring weather.

This weekend, we covered our garden beds with wire to stop the cats from using my veggie garden as a litter box. I can't wait to plant veggies soon!!!! :)

We had a beautiful day here. I finished pruning a Rose of Sharon Bush and pulled out weeds. About all I do any more, I spend most of my time making quilts.

We got an inch of snow late this afternoon! Hopefully it will disappear by morning.

I thinned out and transplanted some of my broccoli. I think every seed that I planted came up. Did the same for my cucumbers. I should be eating yellow squash in a few days. Yippee.
