there's a lady in the condo $32 for a hair cut, and from what I've heard, when you give her a 20, she doesn't give back change. color starts at $65. that's for a box of miss Clairol. if you want frosting, it goes up ro 125. I think these people are super crazy. and it's all tax free. and people are afraid to leave her. too much gossip and too much info being passed around there.

There are very few places around me to get my hair trimmed, so I go to Walmart. Years ago they were pretty good, and prices were great. I usually tipped the change from a 20 dollar bill. So, if the cut cost me 12.00, They'd get a tip of 8.00.
Prices have skyrocketed, service is generally lousy, stylists chatting with each other instead of paying attention to what they're doing. You can't count on the same stylist being there more than a couple of months. A trim now costs almost 20.00...they get the change, but it's not much now. I never know what I'm going to look like when I leave...usually when I get home I have to take a sharp pair of scissors to one side. Oh, and they call me "honey." I absolutely loath that.

yes, Wal-mart hair dresser place (can't think of name) charges as much as my hair dresser does in her shop. and she's good. but i give 20%.
once, i ate out with a friends family. i left a tip of $20.00 and was told the bill was $100.00! yep, 20%!! I am a woman and make less, or did when working, than a man. so I'm not giving more.
