My idea of a great holiday is getting up close and personal with my sewing machine. The presidents of my quild are making the Bali Wedding Star quilt as our raffle quilt for next year's show. I volunteered to help and it is so much fun! When it's finished will take pictures to share. What a quilt!

DD and I are going to church of course, then grocery shopping, laundry, cooking, a picnic this evening and fireworks. I also have to pack her suitcase and make sure that everything is right together because we have to leave at 6:15 in the morning to go to church camp. Busy day. Hoping to squeeze in a little sewing but probably not. I'll save that for tomorrow and Tuesday.

We were going to the little church get together, but I forgot that one of us has to babysit the dog. He is afraid of fireworks. Jim will go and I will watch Rocky. Maybe there will be some on television.
