So Cal, what more can I say? Low 80's - really nice today. My sister lives in Illinois and it snowed there today.

It has snowed here in N Texas all afternoon. Currently, 30 degrees, and still snowing. More coming for Sunday, too..

The heat is off at my friend's house, so she came to stay with us, until this is over. Very weird weather. Was in the 70's just yesterday, and warm enough I broke a sweat while mowing the back yard.

Snow here in the north Dallas area. 34 degrees so it won't last long.

Completely amazed that it snowed here this late...

There is nary a cloud in the sky. Beautiful sunrise this morning to go with the frost on the ground. It is really cold this morning. It is 21 degrees outside. I can tell it is cold in Minnesota when the dog runs out and runs right back in again. The lilies are poppin' through, the iris have started, we have some tulips up about 1/2". No wind. March is fantastic for kites around here, but not today. It should go into the 50's for the rest of the week. I get such a kick out of the 50's. Everyone has to see if they still fit into last year's cutoffs! And we have what is known as Minnesota White (not to be confused with Minnesota choke, which is what happens in all of our sports - get to the top and choke and lose all the marbles)! Minnesota white is the color of your skin, namely arms in a sleeveless tank, or shorts. Sort of Winter pale!!!!!

But as the weeks progress, we have the most beautiful weather in the world. I love the four seasons in their proper order which we have. Edie

Two days ago, my sister and I sat outside for several hours. It was wonderful. Now.........we have 5 inches of snow and it is still coming down. It looks like we are back home in Massachusetts.

One nice thing though, is you know it isn't going to last. They have closed a road actually a couple near downtown where they know the Mississippi is going to go over the wall. So we are in flood alert - just that area and close to the river. We are way up on a hill on a St. Paul hill. But even in February the streets were melting, because the sun is just so hot/warm here that it can be -10d and it still melts. They say that if it wasn't so cold, we'd probably burn up!!!! Just a joke. It'll melt and funny how you forget the winter as sooon as Spring comes, but you did get it royal, didn't you? Edie

Well for 2 days it was almost 65. Yesterday started the snow and ice and 30. Hmm do i sound grumpy??!?!?!

THe school buses have been banned from our road so the kid has to drive my hummer to school everyday. Ohhh, the miles and gas I wasn't planning on.
