My DH does laundry all the time with no misshaps....except when we were first married and he washed my cashmeir (sp?) sweater and put it in the dryer. It fit my 3 year old when he got done. lol. But thats the only thing he runied. He's very good at seperaiting the colors and whites, even remembers to pretreat stains. He's a keeper.

Isn't that sweet!?!? Hubby #2 retired well before me and said he'd take over some of the household duties. he did the wash. He KNEW that you washed like colors together. So he washed my blue silk blouse with blue jeans!!!!!!!!! I couldn't get thru to him....so I got him where it hurt. i told him that for every thing of mine he ruined, he'd have to buy me two to replace. ROL!!!! THEN he listened to me!...LOL

Ditter, that is called dishwasher blindness..it goes with the set...refridgerator blindness..LOL. My husband has a severe case of it.
I also cringed when I saw the title..not because of my DH..but my son in law. He throws anything together. I sometimes do laundry for my daughter and noticed how awful his white socks were. Now I know.
I think the whole thing is a conspiracy..they know that we know where everything goes...
    I don't mind..my husband is a sweetie.
    Peace and blessings

My husband also is color blind when it comes to washing clothes. He just picks everything up and throws it in (white, dark, colors - whatever). I just can't let that happen - so I always do the laundry.
