    He turned it loose....Cobia isn't our favorite fish to eat, especially one that big. I do like them smoked though! They were fishing in the gulf, not very far out.
    He usually goes out in his kayak and has been catching redfish....Those we do eat! :thumbup: :thumbup:

    My husband has gone to visit his uncle in the panhandle the last 3 years specifically to go fishing for cobia, never caught a one. Congrats to your DH.

    Nice fish! Fishing starts here soon, opening day next weekend. I am torn.. fish or quilt... fish or quilt... OH! I qualify for the "senior" ponds now! I may have to choose fishing! They stock those ponds with luscious fish.
