    Good Morning Everyone! :D

I showed hubby this thread last night. He was very humble about your comments. He is a great guy, and a well loved person in the community. So, I am praying this event raises lots of money for the kids. John Ensign's office called yesterday to donate to the auction. (state senator). Cool Huh?

Sand pat ... I know how you feel. The american diabetes association is on line with lots of information to help you get going on learning everything. There is a support group there as well. We went to a couple sessions at the hospital with a counsilor and also with a dietician (sp?). It really was all so confusing. So, I found this site on line that we joined that is run by doctor's and dietitions that gives you a weekly diet to go by to ballance it all out right. It is called GlucoMenu.com It has worked for hubby, along with buying a tread mill for his exercise that he needed. Now, here is the big, " WHAT?" Our doctor put him on cinnamon. It is the new darling of the diabetes world. Check it out at web md.com. He buys the capsules at GNC. But they equal a teaspoon each. Three times a day.
There is a magazine that comes with your subscription to the glucomenu, it is called Diabetes Self Management. It is on line with the same addy but with dot com after the name. It will be ok, don't panic. Bless your hearts. If you need any other information, or a shoulder to cry on, pm me I am here.

Thanks so much. He has really had to work at this. I am so proud of him, I could burst.
