If you live anywhere near the area and like corn better go get you some! It goes fast!
PSFFFFFTTTTT!!! We live in an area where it must be impossible to get good corn!!! Can't grow it here and the stuff we get is days old. I MAY try to grow some in a greenhouse...hmmmmm can you do that???? My mouth is watering for your watermelon, too!

Had my morning coffee on the patio before it got too hot. It's supposed to be in the hi 80's today. 91 tomorrow and 104 on Sunday. I'm in the no. central valley of California. Hot and dry. Humidity 14%. Had to help my DH using Mapquest to find a golf course and he needed the printer so that meant I had to turn on my computer. They are linked for printer sharing. And of course I had to check "the board"! I was late for my Thursday quilting group. We make community service quilts. It's great for me. They supply all the fabric, etc. I only have to sew! Stopped to buy DH a new cell phone, coffee and bananas, vacuum cleaner bags and frozen brine shrimp for the fish. Back at home I had an avocado and tomato sandwich. Tomato was from my plant. My one vegetable garden plant. This plant is huge and I'll be in tomatoes until Christmas! DH doesn't like raw tomatoes. They have to be cooked, like in spaghetti sauce. Sandwich is done and I'm still here! Son and DIL coming tonight for the weekend and then off to Philly to visit with the daughter and family. Whew! When will I quilt? Maybe now? No just one more post.....

OK, now I am jealous. I live in New Hampshire and our local corn is not ready until August. Same goes for melons. I guess we just don't have the long growing season you all have. I planted three blueberry bushes this year, but will not have berries for 2 years. Sigh, have to wait for the good things I guess. Have some corn and melon for me!

Ahhh you're all so mean! All I have so far is flowers on my plants. Probably another 3-4 weeks out in getting fresh 'anything'. :(
