You handled everything very well. I understand how terrifying this could be. I had 2 young men trying to get into my house while I was bathing my baby girl. She is 39 yrs. old now. Police never did anything, because they didn't actully break in. Their hand prints were all over my windows and doors. I showed them 2 very large knives, my dad was a meat cutter, they saw those and ran off. They lived 1 short block down from me. Please keep yourself safe even if you have to put in a security system and outside lighting. Your life is more important. Hugs to you !!!!

Like bkb said never tell someone you have a gun. that may be what they are looking for. Hope there is better news this morning and you are ok. God Bless. Take the gun with you to the quilt house, sounds like they wouldn't be afraid to try something in the day. Not with more than one person riding around together.

I have read every page of this post and you did good. You sound like a very strong person. Don't let fear upset your balance. There are crazies out there that thrive on other peoples fear. Stay strong and know lots of prayers have been said for you.You go girl!!!!!!!! I will give a sigh of relief when I know you are feeling better today.
