    Yes! I saved a female Anna's hummer from my cat once. I held her in my hand and put sugar water on my finger for her to lick until she was strong enough to sit up, then fly. She flew to a tree branch for a bit and then hovered right in front of my face and made three little whirring chirps, then she flew away! It was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. Gave me the warm fuzzies, too. My cat was ticked at me for days, though.
