' was just wondering about Pennsylvania. Glad to hear you are all safe. Isn't that where "Kate Plus 8" lives? Wow - I bet they are scared.

Sunday morning. Still with my brother about 20 miles inland in south jersey. No damage here no power either although my brother has an RV and is using the generator in it to run the fridge. Just heard from a family friend that my moms place ( she is here too) seems to be ok. Tree limbs down but no damage to the house. They never lost power in that area. Now just hoping my place is ok. May go scouting this afternoon. It's still pretty windy and a slight drizzle but otherwise things are looking up. Hope everyone else in the path of the storm is ok.

It's raining like crazy here and we have a little flooding in the basement/garage. Could be a lot worse.

No power loss here, no real problems. It's still raining, but normally. Irene has moved on to New England - wishing all of you up there stay safe!

I have a granddaughter in Colorado and one in NY and they both encountered earthquakes on the same day. How ironic. Now, today there was an earthquake in northern CA and a hurricane on the east coast. Makes you wonder!

We are getting rain, very heavy at times, and lots of wind. We are about 5 or 10 miles from the ocean. No trees down yet in my area so keeping my fingers crossed because there is a big, old one hovering over the bedrooms. Don't think it will get much worse according to the reports, hope they are right! Thoughts and prayers go out to all who have been affected by Irene.

I know that it made a big hit in NC and VA even though it was down to a cat 1. The last I heard was it was about 700 miles across and that is why it is making such hard hits. Thank the Lord my family and friends in both states are ok but without power.
