Wonder how your daughter can stand it ? Poor thing , she has it all the time . Just remember this is temporary , but if you get the job you will be that much closer to her all the time
As for quilting, english paper piecing, yo yo's , hand sewing  many ways to get around it and you might find a new favorite !
When are you leaving

If I get the job, I would have to leave soon. I am keeping my fingers crossed. The job with the training is Ca is the one I wish for. The benefits are amazing. They even pay for my commute one I am back in NY.
My poor daughter has to go through this, but she has learned how to cope, plus my FIL sticks out for her. She goes to school and then closes the door to do her school work. I installed her internet and got re a router so she can be more independent. She is the only grand daughter (thanks to me) and they try to baby her, sometimes too much.

I was looking at your location. When I die I don't want a rag quilt. I want my most expensive one, and as I said before on another post, a needle.
Someone send me a joke before...
This quilter dies and goes to hell. She meets with the devil, and he takes her to a room with all sort of beautiful fabrics, the most fascinating machines, threads of all colors, sizes and textures, tables, materials, the hole thing. She looks at the devil and ask him, How can this be hell? I could spend eternity here with no problem. He looks at her and says...Do you see any needles?
I don't know how a quilter could end up in hell, but because I don't know where will I go, I want to be prepared. Anywhere as long as my MIL is not there...but she is not a quilter. She prefers to "buy her blankets", even though she asked me to maker her one.
