    I miss my truck.

I called the body shop, her face lift should be done by Thursday. He said it was still in the paint shop, as soon as she has had her bath and quality inspection he will call us to come get her.

I know that feeling! I drive a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Back in the day it was considered a luxury vehicle. Three years ago I was rear ended and was given a rental car, a 2007 brand new cadillac. Everyone was so jealous but all I wanted was my jeep back. I love that jeep. The body shop had it for 31 days. My DH and DS almost cried when I had to take the caddy back but I was filled with joy. I missed my jeep so much. I hope you get it back on Thursday as promised.

Gramma Nan, I drive a 1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport, 334,000 miles on it, just last year put in a new engine, this year a new transmission, I am good to go another 300,000 miles. This will probably out last me as I will be 72 in October. My granddaughter, she and my DS live with us, has asked for it on her graduation. God willing I live to see that, she is 11 now. My son wanted to buy me a used BMW but I love my Jeep.

We plan on it. A trip over the hill to Portland, to the Maritime Museum and Fabric Depot. :)

I did find out, one of my birthday presents in November is concert tickets to see Gordon Lightfoot in Portland, Oregon. I am so excited, I missed Willie Nelson last Friday, the weather didn't look to good in Bend. And rightly so, a big storm blew thru right in the middle of the concert.

I know how it is to miss your vehicle that you love. I think your trip you have planned when you do get the truck back sounds fantastic. What a way to celebrate! WooHoo Fabric shopping! Hope the truck is back home with you soon.
