    Later i held open the door (we were inside a building) for one of them taking her stuff out and she looked surprised. LOL
    I used to do a lot of antique auctions. There are always people that think they can intimidate you into not bidding. You did it exactly right. Pay a bit more for the first ones and once they realize you are willing to pay, they back down. Good for you for not letting them intimidate you! Great haul!
