Our JoAnn's was great today!! Lots of customers but more staff than I have ever seen in there at one time. Everyone was very pleasant and they even had 3 ladies at the cutting table. Got 2 yards of fabric for a baby quilt I'm working on, a ball of tatting cotton and a queen sized roll of batting all for less than the original cost of the batting. Soo happy I ventured out!

I say that all the time, but today I bit the bullet and went..... I HAD to have parts for my new 'Stretch' machine..... and I am so glad I did~~~~I finally figured out my tension problem! A bad part! It is funny what a broken drive shuttle spring can do to your stitihing!

We are trying to be sooooo good and use some stash ! Where I am as well. They will always have 50 % off coupons down the road as well. so.....I'm sticking (so far) to when I really need something for a project that my stash and notion boxes can't fill ! I mean it I mean it I mean it !!!!!

I don't have that kind of self control so my coupons went immediately into the recycling bin otherwise I would have been tempted. lol

I didn't go to Joann's today either but my son texted me this morning asking again what I want for Christmas. I don't want the kids spending money on me, I know things are tight, so I said a quilt pattern and that he could get one at Joann's or other fabric store.

I hope I can be forgiven for the evil little grin when he later texted me, "... busy in there."
