I am so cheap ....

Last year for christmas I started a new tradition. I made each of the grandkids a large santa sack and then I made smaller sacks for all of their gifts. I put their gifts into the santa sacks with their names on them. They loved it. I got the sacks back for next year. Never have to buy wrapping paper again. Buy your fabric 75% off after the holidays and save even more. I just happened to have a ton of christmas fabric at the time.

That's a great idea! Our landfills are overflowing as it is. Anyone who knows a quilter expects to give the wrapping/packing material back if it can be used. I don't think he'll be too surprised. ;-) By the way.....Happy Birthday to your hubby.

I my house we usually just put it in plastic grocery type and give it that way. I buy wrapping paper at the dollar store for special occasions. If you don't watch what you buy the card and wrapping can cost more than the gift. We have a joke in my family about cards from the dollar store. We have one that was particularly bad that we have been crossing the name out on and passing around for years
