I notice one board contributor said she lost her regular status, how do you get it and what does it do for you if you are on regular status.

You get the regular status when you've been a member for awhile, and post quite a bit. I lost mine when I was away for a week on vacation, but within a few days, it was back again! :-D

As long as it is OK with him and it is normal for your family, I'd say no problem. For me the pressentation of the gift is part of the gift but at the same time I do not see spending $ for wrapping. It sounds very cute! Can we have a picture? I have heard of some one making pillow cases and doing the Christmas gifts in the pillow case.

We also use boxes over and over. We have one box in circulation that has been reused for 30 years. We don't even put a ribbon on it now; just use a bit of tape. It has been through every family member more than once, but we all smile when we see that old, familiar box under the tree.

I hate the word "cheap" when referring to being sensible or frugal(just my opinion). To me cheap means something else, like mean spirited with money(not helping those in need etc). Frugal means not wasting. I think you just dont like to waste resources or money which is a good thing and not cheap.
