Is it Spring or Winter???? Last week we had tornadoes that damaged 64 homes, 23 of those are 100% lost. Now tonight we have 2 inches of freezing rain/sleet/snow, and under a winter weather advisory until Saturday at 4 p.m. My yard is pure white again..after seeing all the grass. I hate April weather... lol

Well you folks can have all of that! I am in So Cal and right now it is 68 and my door is still open while I sort scraps and design a new quilt. It was 86 today and will be 91 tomorrow but I am headed for the beach (Costa Mesa) so my favorite DIL (also my only one)can get an US done and we can find out if we are making a pink or a blue quilt for this little darling due in October. Then we will hop over to the infamous Peacemaker's so Mom can pick out fabrics so this Grandma can start one more quilt. Then it is to Old Spaghetti Factory for lunch and home to sew with the Quilty Girlfriends. Now don't ya'al freeze back there cause I am having a lot of fun here on the board and that might dampen the mood. Come visist us in California!! It is WONDERFUL here right now!

I'm down here on the mexico border of Yuma/Ca/.So know what your talking about. We've already hit 100 degrees last week. Will be 97 this sunday I think. So,summer is not far off for us either. But the northern states do have nicer summers than us.The only consolation I have is knowing death valley gets 135 degrees in the shade in the summer, where we only get up to 124 degrees in the shade. Now "THAT'S HOT" as Paris would say.

I love that we have so much so near. California is wonderful in my humble opinion but I have never lived anywhere else so I could be biased and slightly uninformed about the world.

I think Mother Earth is getting revenge for all the awful things we've done to her.
