You quilt, cook, do laundry, build, paint, repair and restore treadles. Do you take out the trash too? Wow, alot of wives would appreciate all that you do. My DH doesn't quilt, but helps with color matching my quilts, he was a signpainter in his former career, and he helps abit in the kitchen, does his own laundry but his only flaw is the trash thing!!LOL

Put some thimbles on your fingers and make her some sweet music, pour her some moonshine and serve up a moose burger!
(Down here it would be some home brew or goon, and a roo tail stew). You would still be in the doghouse tho'.

I have several and love them. I am old enough to have used them (not too much), but I do know how--like it is hard to learn.

One of our Ex Prime Ministers( I said Ex) once said ' we should go back to basics' I think you have made a good start with your wash board !! Looks nice on your wall. but I think that's where it should stay, hope your wife gets her new 'state of the art' washer. Your place in the yard sounds wonderful, just wish my hubby had a place like this, then I might get more sewing done. :) :)
