Because of TWO boys...I didn't get a chance to play with them.
Today I purchased a Janome 6600....and I told the man I would be back to get a smaller machine for traveling to sewing with. Well he made me such an offer on a Janome Gold Gem 2 that I bought it too. The town is about an hour and a half away so on the way home I am thinking of all the playing I am going to do..well...that didn't happen. Seeing a vehicle swing wide ahead of us we slowed down...only to see two dogs one laying right on the highway!!! We stopped and another vehicle stopped and we walked slowly back to the dogs..they ran wagging their tail to us!! Friendly dogs..beautiful dogs.....and no collars or any identity on them. We couldn't take them in our vehicle as we already had our two in there...the other folks were load with packing boxes... a police officer came and he couldn't put them in his vehicle as he too had his dog in there! To make a long story short..the other couple agreed to take the dogs to our town and we would see if a rescue would take them. well that didn't work out and the next step was the pound...but it didn't open till 5 pm and they are only there for about 2 hours a day and there was no way these beautiful dogs were gonig there.....sooooo.....we now have a pair of boys and that is why I didn't get to play with my girls. :( I hope we can find either the owners or a home that will take both these dogs .

Ohhh, you were meant to be on that hwy at that time to help the boys. What love you showed them today.
You are so deserving of your two new girls. I have a Janome 6600P and it is wonderful. There is a group just for those. pm me for more on that topic.

How kind you stopped and cared for the dogs. It was certainly their lucky day!

Thanks so much for rescuing the boys. I hope you can find them a good home. So sorry you didn't get to play with your girls though.

Sometimes we just have to do what we have to do. That was so nice of you.

I am so glad you took the boys home with ypu. I hate to see doggies all alone on the hyw. I hope their family comes looking for them. God bless you guys and happy quilting.

Lily and Moira , my two former strays, want me to thank you. Enjoy your time with the boys and then your time with your girls.

What a story! Helping those dogs seems to be your destiny for receiving the blessing of your new machines.
