My Mother-in-Laws house was a museum and we could only feed the babies in her utility room, children were seen and not heard, rules, rules rules so we stayed in hotels whenever we visited. My parents house was lived in and we were loved there. Mom's sign (which is now mine) hung in her kitchen for years and said "Our house is clean enough to be healthy and dirty enough to be happy."

That is cute but have to admit that I am in the kitchen more this year than I have been for a long time. Hubby is on a sodium restricted diet (5 by-pass and mitral valved repair end of 2011) and so I have to bake special bread for him etc. I have been enjoying it tho.
