I was trying to clean up the Quilting folder in my Favorite Places on AOL which had all my favorite sewing/quilting links and I hit the wrong thing and deleted the whole folder!!Grrrrrrrr. I've lost every link I had to all my favorite things-probably over a hundred sites. All the free pattern places, tutorials and everything. Has anyone done this before? Is there a way to retrieve these things if you have AOL? I'm not too computer literate and now I feel like a complete dunce. Help!!!

Look in your "recycle bin" and see if your files are in there.

You could check your history, it should bring up all the places you have been before.

Aol backups some of your info at regular intervals. I don't remember how to retrieve it, but someone here might.
My hard drive bit the dust the other day and it is in the shop right now. The guy tells me that he will be able to get all my data files off of it, but none of my programs. I have a feeling I've lost all my links too. If so, I'll be one here asking someone to send me the links to all the fabshop hop patterns.
    Good Luck.

I agree. It should be in your recycle bin. Let us know if you find it.
