What a lovely and heart warming story. I just have to ask what is that large thing in the background. I keep looking at it and wonder if I am just not registering something familiar of is it some kind of a thing I'm not familiar with?

It's for something they say a mother's love is next to God's. Your patience and persistence with a recalcitrant child is surely commendable, and you were rewarded richly. God bless both of you! Would that we had more like you and your son - maybe then our country wouldn't be falling apart in front of our eyes.

Seeing this proud photo of him causes my heart to swell with pride for him also.
Hugs and smiles to you and your fine son!!

Thank you for being such a good mom! Some children, sadly, go the wrong way without backup like you...God bless your young man and may God bring him home to you! Thank him for so many of us who can only say "Thank you" but we mean it with all our heart.

From a military mom myself, DD=Air Force Capt, DSIL=Army Capt., I am thrilled for you and with you!
On this unique and special weekend approaching the anniversary of our most recent, horrifying terrorist event, I salute, honor, praise, and bless your son, my children, and all service personnel. They are our backbone. They deserve SO much more from the nation they serve than they receive. But a Mother's love and pride is great!!
