Remember when so many of you were helping me with quilting terms that would make a good dog name? Well, I finally got our little shelter rescued dog and named her 1 of your ideas!

Here is my new little dog, Miss Patchwork Quilt ... called, Patches !

She has patches of whites and browns all over her. She was on death row at a shelter then rescued by a beagle-rescue group. She is a terrier/chihuahua mix; a Terriuahua.

She is already getting me outside into the fresh air and sunshine twice a day and now that we are taking her to obedience classes, it will be even more!

I'll have to have DH take a photo to show you how I quilt with her on my lap and so, once again I am "she who quilts with dogs"!

I thank you again for all your wonderful name ideas.
I could've gone with someone's suggestion of Ears (lol) or the obvious Bandit, but I like the sound of Patches and it does suit her well.

OMG! I laughed out loud! I love her. "Perky" doesn't even begin to discribe her! Great pictures.
Can i steal your tag line except change one little word?!

I've got the camera but it really could be me instead of my SIL! Chai just loves piles of fabric.

By the way,... I thought posting this on chit-chat, but many weeks ago when I was newer, I asked for name ideas on Main and it was allowed, so I thought I should just finish it up here in case none of those members don't look in chit-chat. If the moderator changes it, I don't care, I was just trying to be consistent and let those many many posters know I didn't forget their contributions.

When my current people quilt projects are done, I'll have to make a patchwork quilt for Patches. I'll post that in Pictures.

Oh my what a precious puppy. It makes my heart feel good that you were able to rescue her. She knows this and she will always be grateful to you for it. I know as I have had 5 rescues over the years.

My dog (see avatar) is also named Patches. He came with that name when he adopted us. His dad was a Dalmatian and mom was a ?? I knew he was a keeper with that name! Good luck with your Patches-he's a real cutie.
