    I researched the same plan and found out that the memory foam is best put on a regular piece of foam for stability. Something you may want to consider. For ours it became cost prohibitive.

    Great idea! I think I will follow your lead, and do a new one for my dogs. I have little "beds" for them in several places, and need to replace at least one. Oh... and nice summer clips! I used to groom years ago. Went to school for it.

    These came out more like pads like what they put in crates. I had the memory foam already, it was clogging up a shelf in a storage unit, so was time to use it.
    Trying to get it inside of the cover was another ballgame lol. Much easier to do comforters in covers!
