I have not been able to ride a bicycle since I had a CVA (cerebral vascular accident) in 1992. I now have permanent vertigo. I had forgotten how much fun I had, for years, just feeling the wind in my face, and being out in the fresh air. I used to ride a bike everywhere. Giving up riding was one of the hardest adjustments, among many, to make.
Two weeks ago, my neighbor offered to let me try her three wheeler. What a blast! I guess I mentioned how fun it was, a time or two.
My DH is going to be out of town from Tuesday to Sunday (uninterupted quilty time! woohoo!), so he had to tell me to go pick up my Christmas gift at Walmart when it comes in on Wednesday. My darling DH bought me a three wheeler, helmet, lock, and air pump for Christmas!!!!!!!

Not at all.
good for you
Have fun on your new wheels,
I used to love to ride my bike till I got CFS now my legs are so very weak some days they don't take me very far at all before I have to sit down and rest.
BUT oh, like you I loved the wind in my hair, and the challenge of getting over that hill that took me years till I could ride to the top, we would ride to the beach only a couple of hours ride then ride home again that same day. and at 15 we toured the south coast of France, OH what fond memories you have brought back to my mind.
