I tried for a side trip to Japan, Panda....Honest, I did. Couldn't do it. I only have so much money for this trip to Vietnam and putting Japan in there just wasn't feasible. Can't even do a military flight since there are too many flights being cancelled at the moment and also the President is on his way over here. Don't want to be any where near the Air Force Base.

I'm actually running out of time being here. Everything is sneaking up on me quickly. I thought I had another week to get the Christening Gowns out, but nope...GOTTA have them in the mail tomorrow, EXPRESS!!

I truely wish I could get back Panda, but I'm so sorry, I cannot.

Maybe we will fly close enough so I can see them from my window seat. lol

I know that we might have to fly thru Narita on our way off this pebble. Not sure how long the layover would be. Maybe if it's more than a couple hours, we could meet up at the airport for coffee or something?

I'm not too sure about the cuisine. Courtney says that Pho is good, I've never had it, but as long as there are no tentacles or eyes in my food and it looks good, I'm game! ;)

I have been warned about the children begging for money and such. That just breaks my heart, but was told to NOT give them anything or else I would be bombarded with 100s more wanting a hand out. I did find out that if we have any jeans that we really don't want to bring back with us, that we can just leave them in the hotel with a note on them and the housekeeping staff would be glad to have them. Courtney has a few pairs that she's bringing just for that purpose.

I'm going to be bringing TONS of batteries with me. My mini laptop will be charged up so I can download all my pictures. That will be the ONLY reason to bring it unless I can find the other card to my camera.

Pho is yummy! It is a bowl of noodle made from rice in a chicken soup. You could pour some lemon juice in it. Eat it with chop sticks and ....slurp it! That is the way!lol
