That was so nice - you just don't find a lot of that going on these days.

I have had it happen and have done it also. I also believe that Chai Tea Latte is a meal!

I do it all the time, especially at Dunkin Donuts. Kinda nice knowing you made someone's day.

I love your story so much people can be so nice.

I had something simular happen to me. Not with food but, once a customer bought me a wool floral area rug I wanted at a business across the street and left it with no name of the person to thank them. I was thrilled and befuddled. That rug was seventy dollars!

We have something like that around here called "Pay it Backward." It's especially easy at fast food drive ups. There was an incident in Taylorville at the McD's where one person did it, so the next 11 cars did it!! That was so cool. It's promoted by the local christian radio station...

With my luck the guy behind me was buying for the whole office and I'd wind up with a $200 bill. Feel bad asking how much their bill is before I offer to pay for it though.lol That makes me look cheap then. Just wanted to do something nice.

That just happened to a friend of mine the other day! After a day of running errands and donating to various charity groups, she decided to treat herself to Starbucks and was surprised when the cashier said the lady in front of her paid for her coffee. She thought it was karma, but maybe there's something going on at Starbucks where customers pay for other customers? Does it have something to do with National Coffee Day?
