    today started out like this,

this morning I got up at 5am to work (I am an on-call midnight dispatcher for a small trucking company and work out of my house) I got all the drivers going for their morning runs and got the hubby off to work and the kids off to school. So now its 8:20am and I am looking forward to a quiet day at home as the kids have been off for the past week. I start to straighten up the kitchen, 3 men in my house, one big, 1 medium, 1 small, things pile up in a hurry. I picked up a dishtown that was sitting by the fish tank on the counter and it was all wet. Ok, maybe my son turned the air pump off and the water was slowly sifoning (how in the h*ll do you spell that word) out of the air stone. I cleaned it up and pulled the tube/stone out of the tank. I finished putting the dishes in the washer and checked the tank again and found a new puddle. Oh, this is not happening, I am supposed to finish up my secret pal swap box, sent it and work on my quilt. I move the tank out a little and wipe up around it again and wait. Sure enough more water. Great, I feel around and find a crack in the back of the tank from top to bottom by the filter. It seems that someone must have pushed the tank too close to the wall and it caused the filter to put pressure on the glass. Now I know what that strange noise was last night, the glass cracked under the strain. Now its a mad dash to the pet store to buy another tank before the glass gives way to the 10 gallons of water its holding back. Well I got back with the new tank started moving water then the fish then the rocks and all is well. Then I moved on to my secret pal swap box got that all together and sent. Now its so late in the day I dont feel like quilting. Thanks for listening
