Leota that is exciting! I'm sure happy to hear that the Topsy Turby things work. We have plants in 3 of them. First time to try them. No blooms yet but they are small & were jsut planted last week. So hopefully. Please let us know if you get to eat a tomato from this method of growing them. I just LOVE fresh tomoatoes. Yummmm

I bought plants that already had some blooms and they are the Goliath tomatoes...I had to squish them into the little holes...was really afraid I'd hurt them.... I'm just so excited because last year my tomatoes didn't even bloom till September...This year we bought the topsy turvy to try it..so far it's working :D

WE are trying the topsy turvy for the first time this year and we have blooms also. Looks promising. Can't wait for a good tomato...

I may have to get one of those, I saw where they have strawberry ones too, has anyone tried them? Do they work? We can't plant anything in the ground because of the squirrels. We even tried the cayenne pepper thing. But they thought we were feeding them Mexican food and they loved it. We can't even put out pumpkins in the fall or gourds because of those fat hungry little devils.

I am glad to know that the upside down thing works! Maybe I will get one. Good luck!

I found a container similar to the topsy turvey but it allows me to grow strawberrys and one tomatoe plant in the same container - it was made in Utah and I found it in the back corner of my local nursery. I'll take a photo if your interested and post it this weekend.
