    Update Here!

DH brings home dinner, and I spread an old table cloth in the floor in Den, (only clear floor in house at this Point!) So we sit down in floor to eat.

Very romantic when you are 20, but when in 50's just a plain nuisance!

Finished cutting in one long wall! Yea for me!

Not sure I like this color, but at this point too afraid to tell DH,
Dog has deserted me today, stayed outside, didn't want to be in the same house with crazy me! Smart Dog!
Need a bath, getting sort of rank!
Feet sore from standing on ladder, don't wear shoes!
Knocked cover off thermostat and cover broke, have glue somewhere in Kitchen, can't get to it now!

Forgot to say walls are old pannelling, that I have painted 3 times before, so have to paint down all the little cracks!

Pray for DH, he has to live with me tonight!

Oh, Ninnie, I KNOW exactly how you are feeling. It took my son and I three days to paint my kitchen, 4 days to paint the living room, one of which was spent just taping the room. I was so sore and achy I thought I would never get up. We've lived in this house 18 years, Roy couldn't make himself paint. He hated it. Soooo NOW my house looks good but I'm thinking of changing the kitchen walls again. Just not crazy about the celery color.

I wanted yellow, but Roy just didn't want yellow. So I painted it celery and then made yellow check curtains, table cloth, and table runner for the top of the washer and dryer. That way both of us won but I'm either going sunny yellow or white on the walls. I feel the mood coming on, trying hard to beat it off though, I have way to much sewing to do.

Try to set little goals, all the walls on one side, etc. That paneling can be a misery to do. I had sheet rock with vinyl paper on one side. YUCK!!!! Kilz was my best friend.

Do rest, there's no hurry, meals on the floor can be eaten in the bathtub while soaking away the achies! I am never going to admit how I know that can be, but let me say the lettuce that fell in the soap suds didn't mark me for life. The painting left me with bruises from falling into the walls trying to reach the top from a ladder. Balance is not my middle name or anything about me.

    Hugs,
    Sharon

I never remember having to sort out the parts (hips, knees, feet, back...) just to sit on the floor.

....and don't judge the color til it's done and the room is back together. It may be just perfect ....or at least not that bad.

THere is a reason God made paneling and hired carpenters. :?

And, I hate retorical questions. Honey? Why don't we do something nice for you on Mother's Day?
He really didn't want you to answer that, don't you know.
But! Father's Day is coming! I can hardly wait to see what "nice" thing you do for him!

When hubby and I have times like yours, most of the time we can take a deep breath, look at each other and say, "Well, at least the company is good!"

Isn't that the way? One job leads to 10 more. I hate it when that happens.
