My DH now says when any large work like that needs to be done. he says "honey pay the man" so I call a handyman and pay him and things are all peaceful then :)

I'm about to go crazy, couldn't get furniture because of rain!

sitting in den with the only furniture my desk.

crawed into sewing room today and worked a little. can't get to livingroom or dinningroom!

couch is still sitting in kitchen, have to crawl over it to get to frig1

this was just a 3 day project, now over 2 weeks and counting.

Have thought about divorce, but he would just give me the house, and I would still have the problem.

    rained all day. dinner sucked,

DH made me a smores in microwave, so will keep him one more day

I don't think so sandpat, the furniture has to come in the front door, and across the front lawn, a large area. this rain has made it impossible to drive on the lawn, so not tomorrow

I have one pretty clean room though

I refused to unhook my computer, my link to sanity in the outside world and on this board!

DH is in the kitchen asleep on the couch

    You just gotta laugh!

I hope it ends soon for you Ninnie..we finished the flooring in the laundry/bath today..YEA!!!! Now...we have to put on a new roof and have the house painted...those are outside though and as long as they don't mess with my DSL line or fall through the ceiling into my sewing room, I'm ok...

We had 2 sons get married last summer, 3wks apart and at the same time we were putting on new roof and remodeling a bathroom. You would think I would have learned something then.

    Glad yours is going ok.

Thanks for the laughs - you'd get rid of DH but he'd only leave you the house - too funny! What are smores BTW?

K, a smores is 2 gram crackers with chocolate and marshmallow between. you usually roast the marshmallow over a camp fire and slap it on the gram cracker and then the chocolate and then another graham cracker on top and the hot marshmallow melts the chocolate and it is GOOD!

Dh made me one in the microwave, since we had no open fire :D

as kids it was always a treat to make them.
