Thats the same color of mine, isn't it just beautiful? My plant is about 30 times larger than yours. I have had it for over 20 years. At first it didn't do anything, but heard that you should put it near an east window, so that is what I did and the darn thing won't stop growing!!!

Thank you for sharing the picture of the Christmas cactus in bloom. My husbands Aunt gave me on years ago and I put it outside in the summer and I killed it. I was heartbroken.

Oops! I posted a picture of my cactus before I saw your picture. Maybe my cactus isn't as crazy as I thought. :-)

My Christmas cactus didn't bloom this year due to my moving, getting sick and neglecting it and not getting it moved to my new place. She languished on top of the old entertainment center with almost no light and certainly no water. When I finally got straightened around somewhat, I fetched her to her new home and she did not greet me with joy. Made me pay for about two months with a drooping mouth. I am sure she was expecting to be abused any time and figured she might as well not even try. Just this last week, she has perked up and put out a few tentative new leaves. I am chastened and hopeful. I am not usually a plant abuser.

HI, I have the same plant. It blooms about 4 times a year IF I put it near light. If I move it away from light it won't pop. It is about 3 feet tall by 3 feet wide. I fertilize it almost everytime I water it with Schultz Liquid Fertilizer. We love it.

Don't ya love the hot pink blooms? :-D

I could never get one to bloom before it died. My DH got me another one and I told him he shouldn't have. The one that is in his office hallway blooms all the time. So I took mine in and sat it there for a couple of months. It was so pretty so I brought it back home. I went to NC for a Baby shower for my Daughters SIL and her hubby said to pinch off the bud after its bloom died and don't water it for a week or so and it will bloom right back.I had it near a window and sure enough it has bloomed 2 and 3 times. I am so happy.
