    Yes it is purty and I'm guessing that is an 'Arkansas Native' in botanical circles.

    Patrice, I Love this!!! I never mow outside my back fence until the violets stop blooming so my grass is usually about 18 - 24 inches tall. That whole area is mostly violets. We tend not to let the cat out there b/c he would disappear into the tall native grasses.

    Here in Arizona we call them wild FLOWERS.
