    Oh my goodness you guys crack me up!!! I will name it then that way it might make it easier to iron with it. Still creeps me out though!

    From what I can see is that you caught yourself one of those horrible little stink bugs that people all over have complained about. They won't die in water easily so keep trying to get it out. or sorry you might want to get another iron.

    You are right - - I had never heard of that before, so now, I am thinking about what to do with my iron, living here in the land of rattle snakes, black widows, brown recluses, and scorpians ...

    something I just thought of (I didn't notice what state you live in) a bit of a hint.
    When you are done ironing, before the iron even thinks of cooling, dump out the water, all of it ...
    the bugs won't be so attracted to your iron if it has nothing to draw attention to it ... and, who knows? you might have the little bugger fried to a crisp on first contact!
    I really need to go back and finish reading through this thread! <wave>
