I almost divorced my husband years ago when he announced to a friend who just bought a new refrigerator with an ice maker "I wouldn't give a nickel for an ice cube maker!!!" - that was the last time that he ever found an ice cube in the freezer until he learned how to empty the trays and make new ones. Thanks for the reminder!!!

This was obviously done tongue in cheek, but I think Paula Deen was serious when she posted this recipe for canned peas.

The comments are just as funny though...

Oh my goodness! This is so appropriate. My co-workers don't seem to have this recipe - at least that must be the reason there are never any cubes in our bin! I was just talking about writing a tutorial for them about this very topic! I just printed this recipe out and am going to post it on our freezer door!

I love this recipe - I remember when my Granny made hers in a metal tray with the handle that would loosen the cubes - I posted this fabulouse recipe on facebook - I had a great laugh over this one.

Your Better than sex cakes reminded me of when my girlfriend had to move in with me when she divorced. We were both single and spent our spare time together. I took on the role as the cook in this situation because she wasn't a good cook. I was making my homemade crescent rolls and honey butter for christmas dinner and she took one bite...she carried on in a way that isn't appropriate for this board(you can imagine) after plowing through 3 of these she stated that she no longer needed a man, just these rolls and butter, they were better than any sex she had ever had!......I felt sorry for her and her lack of any "good" in her life, and made her another batch!
