Default I love my quilting friends!

I had a nice surprise today. Four of my quilting friends showed up at my house this morning at 10 with pot luck. We solved all the worlds problems around my sewing room table and worked out the details of a workshop , a yard sale, and a fabric buying trip.

That certainly sounds like fun! My quilting buddy still works so we only get to call during the week and chat. We do go out for dinner about every 6-8 weeks with some other friends and we go to a BOM meeting every month. This is the friend that I've been to Houston with 2 different times. We are thinking about another quilting trip next year - just don't know if we want to try another quilt show or go back to Houston. Love their vendor mall!

Great fun for you !!!! I live way out in the country & don't have many neighbors. There is 28 acres next to us. Yesterday a couple stopped by to say hello to my DH. They are going to build next door. They have 8 grown kids, we have 6, They are both retired from The Air Force, we are both retired. But the best news...... TA DA..... she is a quilter. Can't wait to meet her. Hope I like her style. Mine is very prim. Hopefully we can be quilting buddies......

My group of quilting friends and I are very social and active. I keep my 10 month old grandson during the day so my goings are limited right now but usually when he is between feeding and nap we are out the door.

I have a buddy coming this morning...thrilling for me. She is going to join the "BEE" I attend and we plan to quilt together. I love my quilting friends, too. We are planning a trip to Shipshewana when they have their big quilt festival...I can't wait!!!!
