Beautiful print for a beautiful daughter. For your 1st job, you did a great job. Don't give up.

You did such a good job on the dress and your daughter is simply gorgeous. I made all of my daughters clothes when she was little and I used cotton thread. I never had any problems with it. The one thing I will say, is to use new thread. I was given dozens of spools of thread that my grandmother had stored and the thread broke so badly I couldn't use it and it was so frustrating. Joann's is having a pattern sale next week, you may want to pick up some easy patterns for your DD. It is such fun to sew for little girls.

She is so cute!! I think I can hear her talking--that little girl voice. I'm sorry--was there something else I am supposed to be looking at?

She is absolutely adorable and so is the dress. I always use cotton thread for both the bobbin and top thread. I used to use the generic type but I now go with Coats and Clark. It's worth the extra money!!
    thanks,
