My vote is all purpose, Coats and Clark, Dual Duty, cotton wrapped polyester. Hey, not sure but maybe Clark is not on there anymore!!!

She is so cute and her little dress is cute, too! I made my little GD a Halloween print one with a little long sleeve tee under it and black tights. It was really cute.
You may want to tackle twirly skirts next. Just Google for directions.

This was my most disliked part of sewing until I discovered pattern weights, around the same time I discovered cutting mats and rotary cutters (lol) I don't care for the pattern weights they have out now that are fabric covered. The first sets I bought (using Joanne's famous coupons) are vinyl covered with felt on the bottom.

the dress is darling on such a cutie pie!!!

I always use Gutermann, I find it easier to match colors.

Both the dress and daughter are adorable. For the first time, you did a great job. I love sewing clothes for children because a lot things are not fitted like they are for adults. I made all my maternity clothes and most of my children's clothes until they were in Middle School. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
