My veterinarian said dog food could be lethal for cats to consume due to the higher bonemeal mass and the lower protein ratio. Guess the gas is a warning for you to not let that happen again.

HA! that's easier said than done. The dog even leaves a few kibbles in the dish for the cat.

Oh, I wouldn't really make the cats eat DOG food...(I know all about the dog food farts...EWWWWWWW). But, just try to keep them out of it!

And my silly cats know exactly what their job around here is!!! I've 'xplained it to them fully!!!

    1. They MUST GUARD THE QUILT FABRIC!!!!!
    2. They must hold down the quilts on the floor when I am trying to lay them out.
    3. They must snuggle test quilts prior to me giving them away
    4. They must chase each other while we eat so that we have a "floor show"
    5. They must keep all rodent vermit OUT OF THE HOUSE!

I just don't think that is too much to ask...now really...do you??

Wow! Do they follow those rules most of the time? My boy Nemo, responds with "What! What do you want from me now?" And then at 4 AM he says "Okay! Let's go! I can do whatever you want! Right now! EEEEEEhaaaa! Time to play!"

It could have been worse - we saw one of my DD's cats with a chipmunk yesterday afternoon. She didn't bring it into the house - but she made sure we were all watching her after OUR dinner when she ralphed in the living room. YUUUUUUUCCCKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!

4 out of 5 isn't bad at all!! If they were actually our 3 yr old grandkids, we'd be bragging about how good they were

I bet it's all those Disney movies:)You really should turn them off and those cats would do their jobs:)LOL You might even print out the job description! Or just put out some traps w/peanut butter and cheese...so they have great choices:)(Out of the cat's paw reaching)Skeat

If Barney wants to be let out of the living room in the evening and the TV's on, he jumps up onto the cupboard where it sits so we can't see the screen, so we have to get up and let him out! How smart is that?!
